About Me
Elizabeth Woods is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of New York University, where she earned her Master’s degree in Social Work. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field, including extensive experience in administrative and leadership roles before transitioning into direct clinical practice. Elizabeth works with individuals, couples, and families and is passionate about providing compassionate, client-centered care tailored to each person’s unique needs.
Elizabeth has experience supporting clients with anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, relationship concerns, early childhood and complex trauma, OCD, ADHD, and life transitions. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
Elizabeth believes in meeting clients exactly where they are and creating a safe, validating space where they can better understand themselves, process their experiences, and make meaningful changes in their lives. She is passionate about helping clients develop greater self-acceptance, insight, and the tools needed to move forward with confidence and improve their overall quality of life.
