• Complete fingerprinting and background checks.
• Complete a clinical or mental health direct-service practicum and hold a graduate degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or education from an accredited institution; or hold professional licensure (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT) or be license eligible.
• Hold a valid New Jersey driver’s license.
• The current role also lists a graduate degree with at least one year of full-time direct mental health service experience with children, youth, or young adults as a qualifying pathway.
Responsibilities
• Check email and practice systems daily.
• Complete required training and submit completion certificates.
• Complete intake assessments and treatment plans as appropriate.
• Attend interdisciplinary meetings.
• Maintain accurate time sheets and progress notes for each encounter.
• Make clinical recommendations and coordinate transitions or referrals.
• Meet continuing education requirements.
• Provide in-home and community therapy using individualized treatment plans.
• Complete documentation required by the Children’s System of Care (CSOC).
