LCSW

Kaitlyn Long

Taking care of your mental health does not only positively impact your physical health but also your overall well being. I am a graduate of Rutgers University with my Master’s Degree in Social Work and have recently completed my clinical hours to become an LCSW.

I have worked in the mental health field for the past 5 plus years, within the community, and on both an outpatient and inpatient level of care.

Within those 5 plus years I have worked with individuals, families and groups. I have facilitated various forms of groups including group mental health therapy, psychoeducation groups and mental health support groups.

I have experience in working with several mental health diagnoses including, but not limited to, Bipolar I/II, Borderline Personality Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Schizophrenia as well as Schizoaffective. I have also worked with clients that have co-occurring substance use disorders.

In my most recent experience I have been able to assist people with managing their mental health as they deal with grief and bereavement.

I will work with you and your family to address any needs that are identified. Together we will create and implement a treatment plan and work towards the end goal. I look forward to taking the steps with you and your loved one to start living your BestLife!
